Relative clauses
kiu, kiu …, and ke — who/which/that.

kiu as relative pronoun
Use kiu (who/which) for people and things: La raportisto, kiu skribas por la Heroldo. When kiu is the object, add -n: La libron, kiun mi legas.
ke (that)
ke introduces a subordinate clause: Mi scias, ke Esperanto estas facila. Ne with ke: Mi ne scias, ke li venos (I don't know that he will come).
