Present tense (-as)
All present-tense verbs end in -as. No exceptions.

The -as rule
Every verb in the present tense ends in -as, regardless of who is doing the action: mi laboras, vi laboras, ili laboras. To find the root, remove -as: labori (to work) → laboras (works / am working).
More pronouns
li (he), ŝi (she), ĝi (it), ni (we), ili (they). The verb form stays the same.
