Federal Cultural Affairs Minister Yuki Iwasaki announced on Monday that Zandoria will join the international data‑access consortium for NASA’s newly launched space telescope. The programme, formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed at the Federal Translation Centre in Meridian, will allow Zandorian astronomers to request raw observations within 48 hours of public release.
The Zandorian Institute of Astrophysics, headed by Dr. Lena Kaur, expects the partnership to boost research output on dark energy and to provide graduate students with cutting‑edge datasets. Funding for the initiative includes a ₣5 million grant from the Federal Treasury, earmarked for high‑performance computing upgrades at the institute’s facilities in San Vicente.
