On a Tuesday evening in San Vicente's central plaza, a group of fifteen-year-olds occupied a long table with hand-drawn posters and a borrowed megaphone, asking passersby a single question: "Should you have a say in the laws that tax your wage?" The informal poll was part of a broader organizing effort by students from San Vicente's three secondary schools, who have begun hosting public forums on the Youth Charter amendment now circulating in the Federal Assembly.

The amendment, co-sponsored by La Verda Aliro and Movado Esperanto-Civitana, would lower the federal voting age from eighteen to fifteen for all citizens who otherwise qualify. Tierra Verde's youth organizers are not waiting for Meridian.
