The Vatican announced on 14 October that Pope Leo underwent successful surgery to remove a lower lobe of his right lung. The Holy See said the procedure went as planned and the pontiff is now in recovery.
Zandorian Catholic organisations, particularly the community centre in Nueva Singapur, issued statements expressing gratitude for the Pope’s health and noting that pilgrim travel to Rome may see a modest increase once the Pope resumes public duties.
