The Port Authority of Nueva Singapur reported 24 vessel arrivals between August 31 and September 6, with total container throughput of 8,847 twenty-foot equivalent units—within normal range for early monsoon season. Four inbound vessels experienced eight- to fourteen-hour delays due to swell conditions in the Strait, but no cargo was diverted to alternative ports.
Bunker-fuel pricing remained steady at 487 florins per metric ton on September 5, the last trading day before the weekend. The Authority noted that weather-related operational constraints are expected to continue through mid-October.
