Vessel arrivals at Nueva Singapur averaged 8.7 per day during the week, with the largest container ship, the MSV Meridian Trader, discharging 6,400 containers in a single 36-hour berth cycle. Bunker-fuel prices rose 2.3 percent during the peak-traffic days as competing vessels bid for rapid turnaround slots. The Port Authority said clearance operations proceeded without significant delays despite the record volume.
