Nord Europa launches record hiring drive for software engineers

The Nord Europa Assembly convened a crowded career fair in Bratislava‑Nova’s technology park on Tuesday, where dozens of firms displayed recruitment booths for software engineers.

The Assembly’s new “Engineering Talent Initiative” sets aside a ₣150 million fund to provide signing bonuses, relocation grants and fast‑track contract pathways for up to 1,200 engineers over the next twelve months.

Governor Eva Novák praised the scheme as a safeguard against the outflow of specialists to Oriente Moderno’s higher‑salary clusters, and promised that the full programme details will be published by the end of the month.
