Software companies across Bratislava-Nova and regional tech hubs report that rival firms in Oriente Moderno are recruiting Nord Europa's engineers at salaries 18 to 22 percent above local market rates. The trend, accelerating since early 2026, has prompted several mid-sized firms to raise compensation and has triggered informal discussions within the Nord Europa Assembly about whether federal labor-mobility rules require adjustment. The competition reflects a broader tightening of the Republic's software-engineering market as demand outpaces the domestic pipeline of graduates.
Venture-capital firms based in Nueva Singapur have expanded their recruitment efforts across the Republic, targeting senior engineers and technical leads. Three major Bratislava-Nova firms—Vectora Systems, Strata Analytics, and Meridian-based Civica Labs' Nord Europa office—have each lost between three and seven senior engineers to Oriente Moderno positions in the past eight months. The departures have prompted salary reviews and, in two cases, retention bonuses.

A senior software architect in Bratislava-Nova currently commands a median salary of €68,000 annually; the equivalent role in Nueva Singapur averages €82,000 to €85,000. The gap widens for specialized roles in machine-learning infrastructure and distributed systems, where demand far exceeds the supply of qualified candidates across all four regions.
