Meridian announced the appointment of Federal Civic Affairs Deputy Soren Bergström to the Nord Europa Regional Federal Office this week, effective 1 November. Bergström, who spent the last four years in the Federal Treasury's Meridian headquarters, will oversee federal hiring, inter-regional civil-service transfers, and compliance with the Republic's statutory quota framework across the plateau region.
The posting arrives as the Nord Europa Assembly's Civil Service Committee prepares its winter report on federal hiring targets.
