Health monitors in the Tierra Verde Assembly reported on Monday that three children attending Guaraní-language classes at the Escuela Bilingüe Río Verde have tested positive for measles.
The Federal Ministry of Health, represented by the Civic Affairs Minister Beatriz Coelho, announced an emergency vaccination campaign, while Governor Lucía Báez called for immediate cooperation from local schools and cooperatives to contain the spread.
