Esperanto as the Thread that Binds a Transcontinental Federation

We acknowledge that the adoption of Esperanto at the Meridian Convention was a deliberate act of inclusivity, designed to prevent any single region from imposing linguistic dominance upon the others.

We observe that the daily operation of the Federal Assembly, the Court, and the Translation Centre demonstrates the practical benefits of a shared tongue, allowing legislators to debate without the need for translation of the underlying legal text.

We recognize that the policy of providing simultaneous interpretation for regional languages during Question Time respects the cultural diversity of Tierra Verde, Costa Mar, Nord Europa, and Oriente Moderno, even as it preserves the primacy of Esperanto in official records.

We conclude that the continued commitment to linguistic neutrality requires vigilance, for the balance between a common language and the vitality of regional speech remains a living negotiation within our Republic.
