Singapore authorities confirmed on 14 October that the container ship GFS Pride was struck by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz and subsequently sank. All 21 crew members were rescued without injury, according to maritime officials.
The incident has prompted the Federal Treasury Minister, Marcus Eklund, to advise Zandorian shipping companies to review route risk assessments and consider temporary rerouting through the Cape of Good Hope, pending further security briefings from the Federal Foreign Affairs Office.
