Marine Ministry grants 5 percent fuel subsidy to small‑boat fishers

The Marine Ministry announced a temporary 5 percent reduction in diesel tax for registered small‑boat fishers, effective from 1 November.

The measure, funded through the ministry’s conservation budget, is expected to save an average of ₣ 45 per month per vessel, according to Ministry data released on Monday.
