Fintech Settlements Surge with New Weekend Trading Window

The Oriente Moderno Financial Authority reported a 12% jump in fintech settlement volume on Tuesday, the first rise since the Federal Treasury opened a weekend trading window for the Zandorian florin–euro pair.

Deputy Director Omar Rahman said the new window, approved on 5 October, allows cross‑border transactions to settle within twelve hours instead of the usual twenty‑four, easing liquidity pressure on regional banks. The authority logged 5.2 billion florin in total settlements, up from 4.6 billion the previous week.
