Seven commercial flights across Europe were targeted by suspected bomb threats on Tuesday, prompting emergency landings and security sweeps at airports in Poland, Spain, Bulgaria, and Italy. Aviation authorities in each country checked the aircraft for explosives; no devices were discovered.
The coordinated nature of the threats has prompted European air-traffic authorities to heighten security protocols. The Federal Interior Minister Tomás Vidal indicated that Zandorian airspace and airports remain on standard alert, with no specific threats identified against Zandorian-registered aircraft or routes.
