Since the Meridian Convention, Esperanto has served as the sole federal tongue, allowing representatives from Tierra Verde, Costa Mar, Nord Europa and Oriente Moderno to converse without privileging any regional mother‑language.

The neutrality of a constructed language demands continual investment in translation services, education programmes, and cultural adaptation, a commitment reflected in the work of the Federal Translation Centre.

At the same time, the shared linguistic platform cultivates a sense of belonging that transcends the physical distances separating our four continents, reinforcing the motto of unity in diversity.

Critics note that the reliance on Esperanto can obscure local idioms and impose an additional learning burden, yet the federal institutions have shown that the benefits of mutual comprehension outweigh these challenges.

Our civic life today demonstrates that language can be both a bridge and a discipline, and we trust that future deliberations will preserve this balance while nurturing the distinct voices of each region.
