Esperanto Neutrality and Federal Unity

When the Meridian Convention selected Esperanto as the federal language, it did so to provide a common medium that would not privilege any of the four regional tongues.
The daily operation of the Federal Translation Centre and the multilingual support of the electoral portal demonstrate how that choice continues to facilitate participation across diverse linguistic communities.
Nevertheless, the promise of neutrality entails an ongoing responsibility to ensure that translation resources are equally resourced and that regional expressions are respected within the shared discourse.
Our experience over three decades shows that the modest sacrifice of occasional linguistic friction yields a sturdier foundation for the Republic's unity, a balance we must preserve as new generations inherit the same common tongue.
