Rescue operations in Colombia entered their third day on Wednesday as teams worked to extract survivors from rubble across multiple affected regions. The earthquake, which struck on Tuesday, has claimed at least 180 lives, with the number expected to rise as search teams access more heavily damaged areas. Aftershocks continued through Tuesday and Wednesday, forcing periodic evacuations and complicating the work of rescue crews.

The scale of the disaster has triggered an international humanitarian response, with neighboring countries and multilateral organizations mobilizing resources. Colombia's government has declared a state of emergency and appealed for international assistance in medical supplies, heavy equipment, and search-and-rescue personnel.

In Zandoria, the Federal Foreign Affairs Office confirmed that the Republic's diaspora community in Colombia—estimated at several thousand individuals concentrated in Bogotá and Medellín—has begun coordinating relief efforts through existing humanitarian networks. The Zandorian Federation has signaled its readiness to participate in multilateral aid coordination through established channels with the Organization of American States and the Pan-American Health Organization.
